Supervision for ANutr (Registered Associate Nutritionists)

Supervision is a requirement of the Association for Nutrition if you are a Registered Associate Nutritionist (ANutr) and you work with individual clients. Supervision is different from mentoring as we will look at the work you are doing and have done, as well as helping you move forward to full registration as an RNutr.

Supervision Group

This group is for Registered Associate Nutritionists in public health (either freelance ANutr or those working as the only nutritionist for their organisation). The group meets quarterly in Manchester (currently online). We look at complex cases, staying within areas of competency, the latest research and portfolio development.

Here’s what one group member said about the service: “Aliya has been my supervisor for the past year, and I would not hesitate to recommend her. She is very professional, and each session was very well organized with plenty of time to discuss any concerns. Aliya provided excellent guidance on how to develop my portfolio along with plenty of encouragement which has helped me to develop as an associate nutritionist. I always enjoyed the group sessions and would look forwards to the next one.” Kimberley Ridley ANutr

Here’s what one group member said after she transferred to RNutr: “I’d like to say a massive thanks to you for all your support and coaching over the years and providing my reference for this transfer. I could not have done it without you.” Beverley Mort RNutr

One to one supervision

Would you prefer time 1-1 with me? Just like the supervision group, we look at complex cases, staying within areas of competency, the latest research and portfolio development. It’s on a 1-1 basis so you have the benefit of being able to tailor this to suit your needs. This service includes quarterly meetings as well as support via email in between.
